Amicale Cashmere

Family owned and operated for 75 years, Amicale Cashmere is one of the world’s leading apparel manufacturers, found behind top luxury brands such as John Varvatos, Coach, Tory Burch, Vineyard Vines, Badgley and Mischka, and more.


For their annual sale 2016, Amicale partnered with Y INTERACT to create and execute a promotional campaign via digital media to raise awareness, drive foot traffic, and increase holiday sales of their cashmere apparel and accessories.


The multi-platform promotion, running up to and during the annual sale, included a Facebook contest, cross-promotional activity with fashion bloggers, an online catalog posted on Facebook, and paid promotional emails in cooperation with key fashion press.


VIP Shopping Experience

One day before opening to the public, Amicale hosted a VIP reception for fashion press, bloggers and major customers, to encourage word of mouth as well as sharing via social media. Instagram audience analysis provided insight on key individuals to target for special outreach, and active listening via social provided an additional, rapid-response, customer service channel for potential buyers. A promotional campaign with UBER also helped attract eyeballs, as well as foot traffic, throughout the sale.


The Result - Record Sales

The results were phenomenal. Beating industry trends, and an usually warm winter, Amicale’s annual sale was a huge success. When asked, digital channels such as social and email, was the second most popular driver of foot traffic and sales - beat only by word of mouth.
